KP Speaker Mushtaq Ghani To Head Public Accounts Committee

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Monday constituted 11-member Public Accounts Committee, a notification issued here said.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Nov, 2018 ) :The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Monday constituted 11-member Public Accounts Committee, a notification issued here said.

It said the Speaker KP Assembly Mushtaq Ghani would be chairman of the PAC whereas seven members from treasury benches and four members from the opposition would be included in the committee.

The members included Finance Minister Taimur Salim Jhagra, MMA's Inayatullah, ANP's Faisal Zaib and others.

The committee completed constitution of five sub committees including a committee under the chairmanship Deputy Speaker Mehmood Jan for implementation on the government's assurances.

Earlier, the opposition parties in the assembly demandedthat the chairman of PAC should be from the opposition.
