
KPT Hospital Gets Upgraded ICU

KARACHI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Augst,2016) he Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Hospital has been upgraded with state of the art equipment and facilities. Chairman, KPT, Vice Admiral (R) Shafqat Jawed inaugurated the upgraded ICU, said a statement issued here on Thursday.
Chief Medical Officer of KPT hospital, Dr Azam Ali Khawaja said on the occasion that all the latest electro medical machines like ventilator, Bipep, ABG Machine, Infusion pump, Cardiac reader machine and monitors, Defibrillator, Syringe pump, ECG and portable Xray machine etc are present in the ICU.
The 186 bedded KPT hospital is having 238 para medical staff and nurses with 47 Doctors located in the vicinity of Keamari is one of the best hospital amongst the Government sector hospitals, he added.
The up gradation of ICU was carried out on the instructions of chairman to provide best possible quality care treatment to the employees and officers of KPT. The Chairman on the occasion also inaugurated a hospital rescue ambulance and planted a tree in the garden of KPT hospital.
