Lahore High Court Chief Justice Directs For Deciding Cases Involving Minor Offences In 3 Months

Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan on Wednesday directed district judiciary to decide cases involving minor offences within three months
According to a LHC press release, the chief justice directed district judiciary for deciding the cases filed by December 31, within three months, till April 30.
The chief justice also appreciated performance of Jhelum, Sheikhupura and Rajanpur courts which decided all cases involving minor offences till September 10.
District and sessions judges had been asked to send performance reports of magistrates working under their control on weekly basis.
It is pertinent to mention here that 7475 cases involving minor offences were pending in district judiciary across Punjab.
