Lahore High Court disposes of vote recount pleas

The Lahore High Court Multan Bench Thursday disposed of pleas of various petitioners seeking for recounting of votes.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Aug, 2018 ) :The Lahore High Court Multan Bench Thursday disposed of pleas of various petitioners seeking for recounting of votes.

The candidates whose applications were disposed of included former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, a PPPP candidate from NA-158 Multan V, former governor Zulfikar Khosa from NA-190, Jamshaid Dasti from NA-182, Aslam Bodla from NA-152 and Khawaja Daud Suleman from PP-285.

The petitions were filed in the court of Justice Muzamil Akhtar Shabbir.The court directed the petitioners to contact the forum concerned in this regard.
