ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2018 ) :Besides the joy of seeing family members, relatives and friends on Eid day, people also remembered their dead loved ones and visited graveyards to offer Fateha.
After Eid prayer, people started visiting cementries to pray for the dead, following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Flower sellers setup exclusive stalls near all graveyards of the twin cities as people buy flowers, rose water and petals of roses to shower them on graves of their loved ones and remember them.
A large number of people were seen reciting Quranic verses and offering Fateha while sitting beside graves of their family members and friends.
They shower petals and place floral wreaths on the graves of those near to their heart with gloomy faces and wet eyes.
"Every year on Eid dau, I come with my family to offer Fateha at my Father's grave to remember him on Eid," said Abdur Rehman, a visitor at H-10 graveyard.
Shakeel, a flower seller said, "We set up special stalls a day before Eid for people's convenience as many of them visit the graveyards after Fajr prayers."
