Lawyer held for impersonating as judicial magistrate in Hyderabad

The Jamshoro police have arrested a lawyer for impersonating as a judicial magistrate and imposing fines on the medical stores in Kotri town

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2019 ) :The Jamshoro police have arrested a lawyer for impersonating as a judicial magistrate and imposing fines on the medical stores in Kotri town.

A police spokesman informed that Advocate Wahab Abbassi and his 3 associates including Imdad Ali, Shahnawaz and Gulshan who acted as his team had been arrested.

The spokesman said the police also impounded the vehicle which they used during their visits to the pharmacies.

However, he told that police were yet to register FIR against the suspects.

Abbassi, meanwhile, told the media that they were social workers who exposed the medical stores selling spurious and expired medicines.
