Lawyers observe strike to protest Mardan blast

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -5th Sep,2016) : Legal fraternity of the country on Monday boycotted the court proceedings and observed complete strike in protest against the brutal killings of their fellow lawyers, policemen and innocent civilians in the tragic bomb blast in District Courts Mardan.

Lawyers on the call of Pakistan Bar Council observed complete strike and did not appear before the courts. The lawyers held protest meetings in their bar rooms to condemn the attack and demanded the government to provide foolproof security to lawyers.
