LCWU Organizes Seminar On "Women Issues At Workplace"

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2018 ) ::A seminar aimed at solution of women issues at workplace was arranged at Mass Communication Department of the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Tuesday.
Justice (Retd) Nasira Iqbal was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, she urged young girls to build confidence to join both government and private sectors.
Chairperson LCWU, Mass Communication department, Dr Anjum Zia said that most women were unaware of the fact that the law of Pakistan gave them full protection against sexual harassment.
It had become very crucial that efforts should be made to spread this awareness so that every single female got to know what harassment really was and how to handle such issues by self confidence, Anjum Zia added. During the Interactive Session of the seminar, senior journalist Ammara Khalid highlighted the techniques and importance of confidence for women at workplace. APP/saa/zqr
