Legal Formalities Completed To Bring Back Begum Kulsoom’s Body

London (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12th September, 2018) The legal formalities to bring Begum Kulsoom Nawaz’s body to Pakistan have been completed.
The green certificate is also expected to be issued soon.
Earlier, Begum Kulsoom’s passport, which was necessary for her identity, could not be found. However, the passport has now been found following which, the legal formalities to bring her dead body back home will be completed.
The funeral of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is scheduled to be held tomorrow in Regent Plaza Park, London.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif left for London Wednesday morning to attend the funeral and bring her body to Pakistan.
Shehbaz is travelling to London via Doha o n a foreign flight. He accompanied with other members of the family will return to the country on Friday at 6am along with Kulsoom’s body.
The body of former first lady will be flown from Heathrow airport on Thursday at 10pm PST via PIA flight PK-758.
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, the wife of former prime minister, Muhammed Nawaz Sharif passed away on Tuesday in London's Harley Street Clinic after prolonged illness.
Begum Kulsoom was under treatment at London's Harley Street Clinic since June 2014.
She was placed on life support on Tuesday as her health deteriorated Monday night.
Sources at the clinic said she had developed a lungs problem again."She had been responding well without the ventilator until last night," the sources said.
Begum Kulsoom was diagnosed with lymphoma (throat) cancer in August 2017.
Following the demise of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar were released from Adiala Jail on parole.
Police escorted the three convicts from Adiala Jail to Nur Khan Airbase from where they were brought to Lahore via special flight at 2:30am today.
Nawaz’s brother Shehbaz Sharif accompanied them on the flight to Lahore.
