Life returned to normal routine after sit-in a religious group and participants dispersed peacefully in the city on Monday
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Nov, 2017 ) :Life returned to normal routine after sit-in a religious group and participants dispersed peacefully in the city on Monday. Situation had already started improving in the city of saints soon after the main TLYRA leaders had announced to put an end to Dharna at Islamabad as many shops were seen opened earlier in the day while rest had their shutters down.
Last Sunday and Saturday, sit-ins were held in the city at different places including Ghanta Ghar Chowk, Suraj Miani, and others. However, after the announcement, the sit-in was held only at Chowk Katcheri on Monday that concluded at around 3 pm.
Majority of markets and Bazaars have resumed their normal business activity. The participants dispersed peacefully under the leadership of Allama Abdul Aleem, the South Punjab Nazim of TLYRA, Allama Arshad Saeed Kazmi of Jamat Elhe Sunnat, and religious leader Qari Muhammad Mian.
