Lions Club International Director Pledges Efforts To Establish Social Welfare Sector

Serious efforts would be made to reinvigorate the social welfare sector on modern scientific lines with the help of grants from the Lions Club International (LCI) in addition to projecting the soft image of Pakistan at global level, said Mian Muhammad Idrees, newly elected International Director of the LCI.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2018 ) :Serious efforts would be made to reinvigorate the social welfare sector on modern scientific lines with the help of grants from the Lions Club International (LCI) in addition to projecting the soft image of Pakistan at global level, said Mian Muhammad Idrees, newly elected International Director of the LCI.

He was addressing a reception hosted in his honour by Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) here Friday. He termed his election as the LCI international director only due to continuous support of friends from the business community.

"Being the son of the soil, he started his journey from Faisalabad and the FCCI and Allah always blessed him with successes," he said and added that he was lucky to have committed devoted and sincere friends who stood by him to materialize his vision for the welfare and betterment of have-nots.

Earlier, Shabbir Hussain Chawla, President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), congratulated Mian Muhammad Idrees on his election as the LCI international director.Later, an FCCI shield was presented to Mian Idrees.
