The Livestock department distributed 230 animals among poor widows with an objective to empower them economically

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Nov, 2017 ) :The Livestock department distributed 230 animals among poor widows with an objective to empower them economically. Deputy Commissioner Muzaffar Sial was the chief guest in the ceremony, in which, 230 buffalo and cow calves were given to poor women at Tehsil Kabirwala.

Deputy Commissioner Muzaffar Sial while addressing the ceremony said the Punjab government was providing different facilities to cattle farmers. The provision of animals to the poor widows would surely help them take step forward to achieve self-reliance, he added. MPA Syed Hussain Jahanian Gardezi also welcomed the provision of animals among the poor women.
