
Livestock Deptt Equips Field Staff With Motorcycles, Ultrasound Machines

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) In a significant step toward modernizing veterinary services, the Livestock Department Sargodha held a distribution ceremony to provide motorcycles and ultrasound machines to field staff in tehsil Sillanwali on Saturday.
The initiative aims to improve the efficiency of veterinary services in rural areas and ensure timely access to healthcare for livestock farmers.
The event was attended by prominent guests including Punjab Parliamentary Secretary for Livestock Sardar Asim Sher Maken, Provincial Chairman Zakat and Ushr Council Rana Manawar Ghaus Khan, Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Commerce Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, Livestock Coordinator Madam Rashida Parveen, Director Livestock Dr.
Arif Sultan, Additional Director Dr. Tanveer Ashraf Kalyar, Deputy Director Dr. Hafiz Ehsanullah, and several veterinary officers and paravets.
Speakers at the event highlighted the Punjab government's continued efforts to modernize the Livestock Department by providing advanced equipment and transportation facilities. These improvements, they noted, will significantly enhance the performance of field staff and improve the delivery of services in remote areas.
As part of the ceremony, motorcycles with fuel support were officially handed over to the field staff.
The participants welcomed this progressive move and called for further measures for the welfare of veterinary workers.
