LMC Lord Mayor Calls On Shehbaz

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) : Lord Mayor Lahore Metropolitan Corporation, Col. (R) Mubashir Javed called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said establishment of local bodies governments would help resolve problems of the citizens at lower level. "Local bodies will play an effective role for resolving the problems of the people," he added.

Shehbaz Sharif said it was demand of the office of local bodies' representatives that they should make service, hard work and honesty their mission.

He said selfless service to the people and resolution of their problems should be the top priority of local bodies representatives as they could come up to the expectations of the people only through service, hard work and honesty.

The Chief Minister congratulated Col. (R) Mubashir on becoming Lahore Mayor. Lord Mayor Col. (R) Mubashir Javed said problems of the citizens would be resolved on priority basis and no effort would be spared in service to the citizens in accordance with the vision of the Chief Minister.
