Major Anti-encroachment Drive Conducted At Chashma Road

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) Responding promptly to public complaints regarding encroachments at Chashma Road near Dhakki Mor, the Assistant Commissioner of Paharpur Dr. Hamid Sadeeq launched an operation on Saturday and successfully retrieved government land.

The anti-encroachment operation was conducted in coordination with officials from the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) and local police.

A total of 1 kanal and 13 marlas of encroached land was cleared, resulting in the widening of the road at the busy intersection.

Officials stated that the cleared space would now be utilized for placing traffic warning and signboards, as well as for beautifying the area to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhanced public convenience.

The tehsil administration reaffirmed its commitment to continue all possible efforts in the public interest and to take timely action on complaints concerning illegal encroachments.
