Malaysian High Commissioner Calls On Deputy Chairman Senate

Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwalla has called for expediting visa issuance process betweeb Pakistan and Malaysia so that people of both countries can benefit from it efficiently.
In a meeting with Malaysian High Commissioner Ikram Mohammad Ibrahim in his chamber at Parliament House here Thursday, the Deputy Chairman Senate observed that the relaxation in visa processes will also help in better exploring the tourism potential in both the countries and will lead to its promotion, said a press release.
In his remarks, Saleem Mandviwalla said that there is a growing need to revisit the Free Trade Agreement between Malaysia and Pakistan. He said that the trade volume is good but it had to grow and there are a lot of untouched sectors which can contribute in enhancing the trade activity between two countries.
Both sides agreed to enhance Parliamentary exchanges and high level delegations as well as people topeople contact programmes to strengthen the bond between both the countries.
