Man drowns in river while fishing

A 55-year-old man drowned in river Jehlum while fishing near old bridge,Khusahab road here on Thursday

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2021 ) :A 55-year-old man drowned in river Jehlum while fishing near old bridge,Khusahab road here on Thursday.

Shahpur police said Rabnawaz,resident of Anwar colony, was fishing at the river when he suddenly fell into deep water and drowned.

On getting information,Rescue-1122 divers reached the site and recovered the body.

Police was investigating the incident.
