ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Oct, 2018 ) :The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday granted protective bail to Tariq Mansh, the son of Mansha Bomb, in two more cases and directed him to approach the trial court concerned within three days.
An IHC bench of Justice Mohsin Akhter Kiyani and Justice Aamer Farooq resumed hearing of the bail plea of Tariq Mansha.
The petitioner's counsel argued before the court that his client had faced political victimization by the former Punjab chief minister and the Punjab Police had registered first information reports (FIRs) against him on his behest.
He prayed the court to stop the police from arresting him while granting him protective bail.
After hearing the arguments, the court granted protective bail to Tariq Mansha and ordered him to approach the relevant court within three days.
It may be mentioned that the police had also included sections of Anti Terrorism Act (ATC) in the two FIRs against Tariq Mansha. The Punjab Police also registered a number of cases against the accused for his alleged involvement in land-grabbing.
