ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :The Islamabad Capital Terrotory (ICT) Police on Monday arrested Mansha Khokhar, wanted in a land grabbing case, from the Supreme Court premises.
Mansha surrendered himself to the apex court after demanding to meet Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar. Mansha and his sons are accused of illegally grabbing land in Lahore's Johar Town.
Talking to media persons, Mansha said he was politically victimised by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). "I have not grabbed anyone's land and have documentary evidence to prove that the land I own belongs to my father," he added.
He alleged that the PML-N government had registered fake cases against him and his family as he was a supporter of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He said he had to come to the Supreme Court to request the chief justice for appointing an honest officer to investigate his cases.
He alleged that Hamza Shahbaz, opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly, wanted to occupy his land by getting registered fake cases against him.
He requested the media not to call him Mansha Bomb as his name was Mansha Khokhar.
