Marvi Lauds PM's Stance On Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Oct, 2016 ) : Chairperson Benzir Income Support Programme (BISP) Marvi Memon Wednesday lauded the stance adopted by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on the issue of Kashmir.

In her reaction on the Prime Minister's address to the joint sitting of the Parliament, she said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has always attached great importance to Kashmir. "His superb advocacy of Kashmir case at United Nations General Assembly session in the last month has revived the Kashmir issue at all international forums," she said.

She said Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of India-Pakistan partition and must be resolved according to UN resolutions to establish lasting peace and stability in the region. The curfew and use of draconian laws against Kashmiris in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir is clear violation of all international human rights conventions.

Pakistan stands with Kashmiri brethren and ensures them of full moral and political support.
