Masarrat Shhifted Back To Jammu After Hearing In Srinagar

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2018 ) :Illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Masarrat Aalam Butt was brought from Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu, to Srinagar for hearing of a fake case lodged against him in Nowhatta Police Station, Srinagar.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Masarrat Aalam Butt was produced before Additional District and Session Judge where he heard the arguments. After hearing, the Masarrat was taken back to Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu, party spokesman Sajad Ayubi said.

He added that prolonging the illegal detention of Masarrat showed their frustration.

He said that he has been implicating in fictitious cases and lodged in jail which is the worst form of human rights violation. He said: "The authorities instead of honoring court orders are ignoring all norms and rules, and is being subjected to political vendetta."The spokesman appealed to the rights- bodies including the Red Cross and Human Rights Watch to take note of the worst political revenge against Masarrat and his illegal detention.
