Matters Of Assembly Members To Be Solved On Priority Basis: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said the process of consultation with the assembly members would be continued and matters relating to them would be dealt with on priority basis.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Oct, 2018 ) :Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said the process of consultation with the assembly members would be continued and matters relating to them would be dealt with on priority basis.

Action would be initiated against those trying to create any hindrance and every task would be completed on merit, he said and added that market committees, peace committees, Zakat committees and development committees would be reconstituted and assembly members would be given representation in these committees.

He said the assembly members would be given full rights by the government.

The chief minister also announced to name Nicholson Road after Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan and directed that immediate steps be taken in that regard.

He was addressing two separate meetings of Punjab Assembly members belonging to DG Khan and Sargodha divisions at Punjab Assembly, here.

He listened to the problems of assembly members and issued instructions to the quarters concerned.

He said law and order situation of every district would be improved including DG Khan.

He directed to initiate indiscriminate action against criminals and mafias. The land grabbers and encroachments would be totally removed. He said that poor would not be disturbed during operation against land grabbers and encroachments.

The chief minister said he was well aware of the difficulties faced by the people at Arazi centers and that was why, number of such centers would be increased for benefit of far-flung areas' people.

He said a definite change would be witnessed in Arazi centers by January next year and people would get definite relief due to the launch of mobile Arazi centers.

Similarly, public problems relating to land record management system would be removed and 20 mobile vans would be provided soon to help the people of remote areas to access this system.

He announced that the number of Arazi centers would be doubled and the problems of Nishtar Hospital would be solved on priority basis.

He said, the Federal government would be contacted to issue identity cards to the people living in remote areas of DG Khan. He told that funds had been provided for the provision of missing facilities in schools.

The proposals presented by the assembly members would be implemented and it was a good omen that people were perceiving positive change around them.

The chief minister said he would visit different districts and divisions to review the problems and consultation of assembly members would also be solicited.

He said the issue of salaries of water supply scheme employees along with provision of MRI machines to Sargodha division hospitals would be ensured.

The assembly members apprised the chief minister about proposals of their respective Constituencies and thanked him for the process of mutual consultation.

The process of consultations for knowing the problems of the constituencies by the chief minister showed a real change, they added.

Senior minister, provincial ministers, chief secretary, IG Police and concerned secretaries attended the meeting.
