Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri Pays Tribute To Mian Raza Rabbani

Senate Deputy Chairman Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri Friday said the tenure of Mian Raza Rabbani as chairman of the upper house of parliament would be written in golden words in the country's history.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Mar, 2018 ) :Senate Deputy Chairman Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri Friday said the tenure of Mian Raza Rabbani as chairman of the upper house of parliament would be written in golden words in the country's history.
Speaking in the Senate, Haideri said he would never forget what he and Rabbani had done during the last three years, and how they jointly conducted the business of the House and worked for the supremacy of the parliament and Constitution.
He also thanked fellow senators for their cooperation in running the business of the house.
Karim Ahmed Khawaja of Pakistan Peoples Party thanked his party leadership for reposing trust in him. He was thankful to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Aslif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for giving him an opportunity for representing the party in the Senate, he added.
He also appreciated the Senate chairman for making Parliament Friendship Groups. Awami National Party's Muhammad Daud Khan Achakzai urged the political parties to work for the supremacy of parliament and Constitution.
