Mayor, DC Hyderabad Visit Various Pumping Stations Of City

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) Mayor Hyderabad Kashif Ali Shoro and Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zainul Abedin Memon visited various pumping stations of the city after the rains and inspected the rainwater dewatering works.

After the rain in the morning, water accumulated in different areas of the city, after which the Mayor and DC immediately inspected the pumping stations.

During the visit, the pumping stations of Latifabad, Shah Latif Town, Hussainabad, Sachal Sarmast, Qasimabad and Mian Sarfraz Town were inspected.

Mayor Kashif Ali Shoro said that all the areas of the city have been evaluated and immediate steps are being taken for drainage.

He informed that drainage of rainwater has been completed in most of the areas, but water is still standing in some low-lying places, where the drainage process is going on rapidly.

He directed the concerned officers to be vigilant and make all possible arrangements to save the citizens from any kind of trouble.

The local administration said that the work has been done on an emergency basis after the rains and soon the water drainage will be completed in all areas.
