
MBP Near To Completion

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th August, 2016) : Metro Bus Project (MBP) is reaching its final stage as an important phase of carpeting of flyovers has been completed. According to a handout issued here on Monday, road carpeting of carriageway way of metro route had already been completed, while work continues with a brisk pace at 21 metro stations of the project.
Lifts were being installed at metro stations and tickets booths were also being set up. 80 percent footpath work from Bahauddin Zakariya University to Afshaar Chowk had been completed, while work was underway for footpath from Afshaar Chowk to Hafiz Jamal road and BCG Chowk. Footpath and tufftile work from Peoples Colony to Chowk Kumharanwala had been completed and expansion joints at flyovers had also been installed in the section.
Work continues for expansion of Chowk Kumharanwala, the handout added.
