Meeting Held To Discuss Issues With Regard To Endowment Funds

Chief Minister (CM) Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Hafizur Rehman said that it was the top priority of his government to resolve masses' problems and added that an endowment fund had been set up in the health department for providing free medical treatment to needy and deserving patients.
GILGIT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Oct, 2018 ) :Chief Minister (CM) Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Hafizur Rehman said that it was the top priority of his government to resolve masses' problems and added that an endowment fund had been set up in the health department for providing free medical treatment to needy and deserving patients.
He said this while chairing a meeting with regard to utilization of endowment funds of the disaster management and education department here on Thursday.
Similarly, he added that endowment funds had also been established in the education department to provide free education to shining poor students in order to encourage them to continue pursuing studies and support their families.
Following the cabinet's approval to such policy, students of the Gilgit Baltistan would avail the facility.
He recalled that during PML(N) government in the Federal, major hospitals of the Gilgit Baltistan were granted Rs 330 million which was good measure and widely appreciated by the masses.
He said that GB government would make more initiatives for the encouragement of students and introduce Umera policy for students who secured prominent positions in exams.
