Meeting Reviews Security Plan For Chehlum Of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) In Karachi

The Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Monday reviewed security plan for the Majalis and mourning processions to be taken out in connection with Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) in the metropolis.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :The Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Monday reviewed security plan for the Majalis and mourning processions to be taken out in connection with Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) in the metropolis.
In a meeting chaired by Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh Major General Muhammad Saeed held at Headquarters Pakistan Rangers Sindh, it was decided to ensure the strict security of sensitive points besides mourning processions and majalis, said a press release here.
It was also decided that strict implementation of the code of conduct issued by the Sindh Government will also be ensured during the observance of Chehlum.
The meeting, attended by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Commissioner Karachi, Additional IGP Karachi, senior officers from Rangers and other Law Enforcement Agencies, also reviewed strategy adopted for the maintenance of law and order and elimination of street crimes from the city.
The general public has been advised to cooperate with the LEAs and inform them about any unlawful, suspicious or terrorist activity, if any on Rangers Helpline 1101 and Rangers Madadgar Whatsapp No. 03162369996.
