Mehfil-e-Naat Held At IUB In Connection With Ramazan

A grand Mehfil-e-Naat was held at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in connection with Holy Month of Ramazan

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2019 ) :A grand Mehfil-e-Naat was held at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in connection with Holy Month of Ramazan.

According to the spokesman of the university Shahzad Ahmad, as many as 65 students winner of Naat competition from all seven faculties participated in interfaculty Naat competition held under the auspices of Directorate of Alumni and Senior Tutor Office.

Students with their passionate recitation of verses illuminated the environment and enriched the audience of Naat Khawani.

It is important to mention here that on the direction of Engr. Prof. Dr. Aamir Ijaz, Vice Chancellor Dars e Quran in all mosques across campuses are being held during Taraweeh prayers as well as Naat Khawani Mahafils competitions are being organized during the holy month.

Prof. Dr. Muazam Jamil, Principal University College Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences and Dr. Abdul Wajid Khan, Director Alumni distributed shields and certificates among participants of Naat Khawani.
