Mehran University Of Engineering And Technology Organizes 'Green Mehran, Green Sindh And Green Pakistan' Event

The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) organized an event titled 'Green Mehran, Green Sindh and Green Pakistan' at its campus in Jamshoro on Saturday.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Aug, 2018 ) :The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) organized an event titled 'Green Mehran, Green Sindh and Green Pakistan' at its campus in Jamshoro on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili said the MUET began arranging that annual event in 2015 to connect its alumni with the varsity.
He said the local communities, among which the students and ex students of the MUET live, had their right on the students.
He requested the students to serve the local communities."They should hear their problems and help them in their capacities to address the problems," he suggested.
Around 450 students and 50 teachers participated in the event while the Fatmid Foundation set up a blood donation camp which would continue for two days.
A campaign for cleanliness in the campus was also organized and the former students also planted trees.
