MEPCO Imposes Fine Rs 2.3m On 79 Pilferers

The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) imposed fine over Rs 2.3 millions on 79 pilferers during a crackdown in the region here on Thursday
According to Mepco office sources, a task force of the company with the district administration and police launched a crackdown and caught 79 pilferers besides imposing a fine of over Rs 2.3 million.
The MEPCO also got registered FIRs against seven pilferers, the sources added.
