MEPCO Installs 7,099 Distribution Transformers

Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has installed 7,099 distribution transformers during the current fiscal year 2018-19

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2019 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has installed 7,099 distribution transformers during the current fiscal year 2018-19.

According to MEPCO sources, the distribution transformers of various capacity were installed for upgradation of distribution system and provision of new electricity connections.

The strength of distribution transformers of MEPCO has reached 168,296.

The transformers, which were installed included eight of 10-KVA, 14 of 15-KVA, 4552 of 25-KVA, 2,216 of 50-KVA, 179 of 100-KVA, 97 of 200-KVA, 15 of 400-KVA and 18 transformers of 630-KVA.

As many as 784 transformers were installed in MEPCO Multan circle, 456 in DG Khan, 1,012 in Vehari, 1,161 in Bahawalpur, 1,371 in Sahiwal, 473 in Rahim Yar Khan, 454 in Muzaffargarh, 649 in Bahawalnagar and 739 distribution transformers were installed in Muzaffargarh circle from July 2018 to March 2019.
