MEPCO To Ensure Uninterrupted Power Supply In Sehri, Iftari

MULTAN, May 5 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2019 ) ::Chief Executive Officer MEPCO Engineer Tahir Mahmood said that uninterrupted power supply would be ensured to consumers during Sehar and Iftar timings.

According to press release issued here on Sunday, the Mepco CEO said, there would be no load management on 1056, out of 1156, domestic feeders during the holy month of Ramadan. However, load management would be made on 100 feeders due to high losses while electricity would be ensured during sehar and iftar timings on these feeders.

He said that high losses feeders were existed in rural and riverine areas of DG Khan and Rahim Yar Khan circles.

The CEO MEPCO said that central control room had been established at MEPCO Headquarters to address the consumers' complaints while the staff would perform duty at control room round the clock.

He said that extra material and transformer trollies had been provided to each subdivision to ensure smooth power supply.
