ANP Secretary General Mian Iftikhar Hussain Monday expressed concern over increasing incidents of sexual abuse of children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and asked the KP government to quit over its failure in controlling the menace
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Feb, 2018 ) :ANP Secretary General Mian Iftikhar Hussain Monday expressed concern over increasing incidents of sexual abuse of children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and asked the KP government to quit over its failure in controlling the menace.
Addressing 8th death anniversary function of late poet, philosopher and Pashto intellectual Ajmal Khattak here, he referred to the incidents of child abuse in D I Khan, Kohat, Khushmaqam and Mardan and said the government had done nothing to curb the crime.
The Aawami National Party (ANP), he said, would continue to raise voice against such excesses in other provinces also as it was a conspiracy to terrorize the people, he added. He said former SSP Malir Rao Anwaar and his network should be busted, who were involved in killing of innocent people.
Mian Iftikhar urged the government to accept the demands of Mehsud's tribes protesting against the killing of Naqeebullah Mehsud and his family should be provided justice otherwise ANP would launch a movement for it.
