Minister Announces Honorarium Transfer For Post-graduate Training Doctors

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Aug, 2024) Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has announced that the Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical education has transferred the honorarium for level-3 post-graduate training doctors to their accounts for the month of July.

In a statement issued on Saturday, he confirmed that the honorarium was also transferred to the doctors' accounts on August 1. He highlighted that these funds had been disbursed through the Punjab Health Foundation, which had been instrumental in facilitating post-graduate training doctors.

"This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting the professional development of our medical trainees," said the minister. "We recognise the hard work and dedication of our post-graduate doctors, and we are dedicated to ensuring they receive their due compensation in a timely manner."

The timely transfer of these funds aims to provide financial stability and encouragement to the doctors, enabling them to focus on their training and patient care without financial concerns.
