Minister Auqaf Stresses Transparency In All Cases

Punjab Minister for Auqaf Pir Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah directed the officers concerned to ensure good governance, transparency and delivery of service in all cases

NAROWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Sep, 2021 ) :Punjab Minister for Auqaf Pir Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah directed the officers concerned to ensure good governance, transparency and delivery of service in all cases.

While presiding over a meeting of District Coordination Committee(DDC) here on Wednesday,the minister said that the Punjab government was giving priority to the solution of people problems.He directed the officials concerned to adopt a policy of mutual liaison for the development of the district and to submit weekly reports of ongoing schemes in the public interest.

The provincial minister said that the construction department should use all their resources to complete the development schemes within stipulated time and no delaying tactics will not be tolerated in this regard.

The price mechanism should be made more efficient so that maximum relief can be provided to the people, he added.

Deputy Commissioner Narowal Nabila Irfan gave a detailed briefing to the Provincial Minister on the ongoing development schemes in the district as well as the steps being taken regarding prices, dengue and corona vaccination.

Provincial Minister appreciated the services of the Deputy Commissioner Narowal and District Police Officer (DPO) Narowal in maintaining law and order, security and sanitation situations in the district as well as steps taken for the welfare of the citizens.

District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Akbar Ali Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Hanif, ADC Finance and Planning Umar Farooq Warraich, Assistant Commissioners, XEN Highway Samiullah Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) local leaders and the local officials of the concerned departments attended the meeting.
