Minister directs expediting work on Gomal Zam Dam

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2018 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Food, Irrigation and Agriculture Anwar ul Haq has directed concerned department to expedite work on Gomal Zam Dam.

He was talking to Secretary Food and Agriculture at his office here on Wednesday.

The minister urged the department to amicably resolve all the cases regarding departmental promotions, postings and appointments under the son quota.

He directed to put in place a mechanism throughout the province to ensure quality of food and added steps should be taken to ensure quality control of fruits being imported from Afghanistan.

Secretary Food and Secretary Agriculture briefed the minister about the working of their departments.
