Minister Directs Officers For Bringing Improvement In Performance

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food, Qalandar Khan Lodhi has directed the officers of Food Department for bringing further improvement in their performance and fulfilling responsibility with honesty.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food, Qalandar Khan Lodhi has directed the officers of Food Department for bringing further improvement in their performance and fulfilling responsibility with honesty. Otherwise, stern action would be against the negligent.
He issued these directives while presiding over a meeting here at Food Directorate here Wednesday. Besides, Secretary Food, Mohammad Akbar Khan, Additional Secretary Food, Khaista Rehman, divisional and district food officers attended the meeting at large.
During the meeting, the food minister directed District Food Controllers for ensuring the holding of price review committee with deputy commissioners every month.
He also directed the officers of food department for ensuring the installation of nets over meat shops and reviewing of cleanliness situation to provide hygienic meat to the people.
The provincial minister also directed the ensuring of the officially fixed weigh of roti and the presence of their representatives during bidding at fruit and vegetable markets to guarantee the provision of quality fruit and vegetable to people at officially fixed rates.
Qalandar Lodhi urged upon the officers that their focus should be the provision of welfare and quality food items to the people, adding that Food Department is deployed on the security of wheat.
He further directed for initiating steps for the speedy disposing of unresolved cases with Federal government and other different organizations. He further directed the officers of the Food Department showing official decorum and duty-timings.
The provincial minister said that those exhibiting good performance will be conferred with commendation certificates.
Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary, Food Department told the provincial minister that for theimplementation of guidelines an action plan will be evolved as soon aspossible.
