Minister Pays Surprise Visit To E&T Offices

Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation (E&T) and Narcotics Control Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmed Tuesday paid a surprise visit to Excise & Taxation Office Motor Branch Farid Kot House, here to review the facilities being provided to people.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Sep, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation (E&T) and Narcotics Control Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmed Tuesday paid a surprise visit to Excise & Taxation Office Motor Branch Farid Kot House, here to review the facilities being provided to people.
The minister observed that working process of staff concerned in different branches for more than one hour as common man.
He suspended Data Entry Operator Kashif Kaleem after presence of private people in his cabin.
The minister reviewed the auction process of attractive numbers of vehicles and listened to problems of people standing at two windows during his visit to Number-Plate Section.
He said that besides providing the best facilities to people in both sections, the number of staff should be increased in windows, so people could not wait for long hours in queues.
Moreover, he also issued orders for early solution to legal cases of transfers and getting rid of agent mafia.
