Minister Satisfied With Steps Taken To Tackle Floods Threat

MUZAFARRGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st September, 2016) : Provincial Minister for Cooperative Malik Iqbal Chunar expressed satisfaction at measures taken by the authorities concerned to save the district from the flood risk. While addressing a meeting at DCO office here Thursday, he thanked God that this year the district remained safe and no divastation was caused by rains and floods.
Earlier, DCO Shaukat Ali gave briefing to the minister regarding flood situation.
He said that flow of water from Chenab and Sindh rivers had remained under control. However, he said the administration adopted all precautionary measures to deal with floods.
