
Minister Takes Notice Of Closure Of 700 Schools

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th August, 2016) : Sindh Minister for education Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has taken serious notice of the closure of 700 government schools in Mirpurkhas Division. In a statement issued here on Monday, he said that the closure of schools in Mirrpurkhas Division was a matter of concern and he would not allow anyone to waste the precious year of thousands of students. He also took notice of a dispute about headmistress' posting at Government Girls High school Larkana and use of substandard material in the construction of classrooms at Government Higher Schools Patedin.
Jam Mehtab directed Director Education Larkana Razia Begum Pathan to resolve the dispute of the posting of headmistress at Government Girls High School Larkana so that curriculum activities might run in full swing there and take action against those who were creating problems for the students.
He asked the Secretary Education to look into the matter of the use of substandard material in the construction of classrooms at Government Higher Secondary School Patedin and seek report from Education Works Engineer so that an action might be taken against those who are found involved in malpractice.
