Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) has included five mega projects in ten year newly merged Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) development plan 2018 to 2028 and will be completed in stipulated time period which were proposed in the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) in current fiscal year.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Aug, 2018 ) :Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) has included five mega projects in ten year newly merged Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) development plan 2018 to 2028 and will be completed in stipulated time period which were proposed in the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) in current fiscal year.
An official source told APP here on Thursday that the newly proposed projects are backbone of the area including construction of Bara multipurpose dam project in Khyber district with the cost of Rs 22000 million, rehabilitation of Thall Parachinar road and construction of additional carriage way with the cost of Rs 5131 million, construction of Jabba Dam in Jamrud with the cost of Rs 3500 million, Chapari Charkhel Hydro Power project in lower Kurram with the cost of Rs 5000 million and Bosaq Hydropower project Bajaur Agency.
He said that all the projects would be completed with the cost of Rs 40,631 million in ten years FATA development plan.
To a question he said that 122 development schemes in the health sector including 87 on-going and 35 new schemes with the total cost Rs 1644 million.
