Mirpurkhas Gears Up For 77th Independence Day Celebrations

MIRPURKHAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Aug, 2024) Mirpurkhas Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rasheed Masood Khan emphasized the importance of celebrating Independence Day with enthusiasm and patriotism, stating that it's the responsibility of every individual and department.

This he said while presiding over the meeting held regarding celebrating the 77th Independence day on 14th August.

During the meeting, DC Dr. Rasheed Masood Khan also said that the buildings of all public and private institutions will be decorated.

He directed the officers of all the concerned departments to complete all arrangements on the occasion of Independence Day.

This year's 77th Independence Day celebrations will kick off with special prayers in mosques and places of worship, followed by a main ceremony at the Commissioner Complex featuring flag hoisting, songs, speeches, and tableaus, he added.

The festivities will also include fruit and sweet distribution at hospitals and prisons. Dr. Khan directed officials to ensure all arrangements are in place for a memorable celebration.
