Mobile Phone Service In Twin Cities Restored

Mobile phone service in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad has been restored on the conclusion of Pakistan day ceremony.
ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd March, 2019) Mobile phone service in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad has been restored on the conclusion of Pakistan day ceremony.Stringent security arrangements were made across the country on the eve of Pakistan day and mobile phone service and metro bus service was suspended in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Entry of heavy traffic was also suspended in the twin cities.
According to police heavy traffic coming from Peshawar to Islamabad was stopped at Attock bridge, Hazroo bridge, Mangla and Chungi No 26 while heavy traffic coming from Lahore was stopped at Gujarat Jhelum bridge, Mandra toll plaza and Rawat T Chowk.Deputy commissioner Islamabad had also issued a notification in connection with arrangements for Pakistan day under which it was announced that all marriage halls, hotels and bus terminals around parade ground would remain closed from March 18 to March 23.
