
Mohsin Naqvi Praises Injured Hangu DPO For Heroic Role In Anti-terror Operation

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a telephonic conversation with Hangu District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Khalid, who was injured during an operation against the militant group “Fitna Al-Hindustan.”
The DPO sustained three bullet wounds during the fierce exchange but remained in high spirits. Minister Naqvi inquired about his condition and commended his bravery and leadership.
"Under your command, the police team displayed immense courage and eliminated five terrorists of Fitna Al-Hindustan," said Naqvi.
He lauded the entire Hangu police team for their successful operation and described their action as a significant blow to terrorism.
Naqvi also offered prayers for the swift recovery of DPO Khalid and SHO Nabi Khan, who was also injured in the operation. "You are the pride of the nation. We are proud of you," he added.
The operation marks a major counter terrorism success in the region.
