More solar, wind energy projects will start in Sindh soon: Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh

Sindh Minister for Energy Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh on Friday said that more wind and solar energy projects in collaboration with foreign companies will be initiated in the province

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2019 ) :Sindh Minister for Energy Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh on Friday said that more wind and solar energy projects in collaboration with foreign companies will be initiated in the province.

Talking to a delegation of a Chinese company which called on him at his office, Imtiaz Sheikh said that many foreign companies were taking keen interest in investments in the province following the positive policies of the government.

The delegation, on the occasion, expressed its interest in Alternative Energy Projects and Transmission Line Projects.

The matters pertaining to mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
