More Than Half Pakistanis (56%) Opine That Pakistani Culture And Religion Allows Women To Work As Equally As Men

Islamabad, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2018 ) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, more than half Pakistanis (56%) opine that Pakistani culture and religion allows women to work as equally as men.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Our culture and religion allows women to work as equally as men.” In response to this question, 24% said strongly agree, 32% said somewhat agree, 20% said neither agree nor disagree, 16% said somewhat disagree and 5% said strongly disagree.
3% did not know or did not wish to respond.
