Mosque Cleric In Faisalabad Sells Woman For Rs 2 Lac

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 2nd April, 2019) A mosque cleric in Faisalabad allegedly sold a woman for Rs 2 lac.

According to a report published in a local newspaper, a mosque cleric in Batala Colony jurisdiction sold the woman for Rs 2 lac by trapping her to meet her children.

The victim escaped after two months when she found the chance.

According to police report, the husband of Farzana, a resident of Feroz Shah, had asked her to leave the house two years ago and kept the children with him.

The area’s mosque cleric told the woman that he would make her meet her children but instead sold the woman for Rs 2 lac.

Media report said that the cleric was a close relative of the woman.

Locals are shocked at the incident while it is not known if the cleric has been arrested not.
