Mother and Child Hospital and Leh Expressway project would be completed soon, Member National Assembly (MNA) Rashid Shafique Monday said.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Nov, 2018 ) :Mother and Child Hospital and Leh Expressway project would be completed soon, Member National Assembly (MNA) Rashid Shafique Monday said.

Talking to Journalists here at Rawalpindi Press Club, Rashid said the provision of basic civic amenities to the residents of Rawalpindi was top priority of the PTI government.

He said special attention was being given to overcome water issue and encroachment taking the trade bodies into confidence.

Rashid said the corrupt officials of municipal corporation were responsible for encroachment in the city and "if you want to end encroachments, action against corrupt officials must be taken." The MNA said credit goes to Sheikh Rasheed for starting mega projects in the city in the past.

Rashid said the government was determined to upgrade the existing civic facilities in Rawalpindiand all available resources would be utilized to bring a visible change in delivery of services.
