Motorway Police Foils Attempt To Smuggle Huge Cache Of Contraband In Islamabad

National Highways and Motorway Police on Friday foiled an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of contraband through the motorway. The motorway police recovered 34 kilogram Charas and 34 kilogram opium and arrested two smugglers.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Aug, 2018 ) :National Highways and Motorway Police on Friday foiled an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of contraband through the motorway. The motorway police recovered 34 kilogram Charas and 34 kilogram opium and arrested two smugglers.
The officers of the motorway police signalled a car coming from Peshawar going towards Lahore to stop near Chakri. The driver sped the car and in the ensuing chase lost control and itoverturned.
The police arrested the two injured and recovered contraband hidden in the vehicle.
