MPA Jameel Soomro Directs Administration To Ensure Drainage

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) Rainfall in Larkana city has decrease the intensity of the heat, making the weather pleasant. However, low-lying and elevated areas of the city have been submerged. Sewage water has made movement difficult for citizens, while rainwater has also entered properties.

As soon as the rain started, electricity supply was suspended. The 55 mm of rain in Larkana has left the city in disarray, with rainwater accumulating in homes, streets, and buildings.

On the other hand, during the rain, Jameel Ahmed Soomro, Political Secretary to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and MPA of Larkana City, along with Khair Mohammad Sheikh (President of PPP City District Larkana and Special Assistant to the Sindh Chief Minister), Mayor Larkana Anwar Ali Luhur, Assistant Commissioner Larkana Raja Khan Qureshi,Municipal Corporation Member Larkana Sher Mohammad Laghari, UC Chairman Shafique Ahmed Chandio, Azhar Ali Bhutto, and other party officials and workers, conducted a visit to Larkana city.

On this occasion, MPA Jameel Ahmed Soomro directed the administration to expedite the drainage of rainwater and provide full relief to the citizens.
